I’ve been playing with wax but learning wax is pretty hard without taking classes. This book really gave some information of things I’ve been wondering about! I really loved the breakdowns of tools and waxes and such! Very affordable for such information.
I had high hopes for this book. I've recently gotten into wax carving and had been teaching myself through youTube videos and the like.This book didn't really add anything new. As noted by others the photos are tiny, and the projects lack engagement due to many of them being items which would be much better manufactured directly in metal.
I found this book helpful and appreciate the tips the author has included throughout. The projects provided good practice for different wax techniques and are easily modified to fit your own style.
Not enough detail, photos are tiny, beautiful book but does not have adequate detail.
